Fishing Trips

Overview

Daily Trips

The Queen of Hearts runs trips daily throughout the season, granted we do not have to cancel due to weather or other unforseen circumstances. When you book with us, we will keep you updated with any information that may impact your trip.

Charters

Private charters are available by arrangement. All of the services included in our daily trips are also available on private charters. If you are interested in chartering the Queen of Hearts, get in contact with us and we'll get you out there!

Types of Fishing Trips

We run different types of trips depending on the time of year, as well as state & local regulations. We are most known for our salmon, rockfish, and crab combo trips, but have also gone out for albacore when they are in the area!

Details

Salmon

The Pacific King Salmon is one of the most sought-after fish in the area. The season typically runs from April to October, but is subject to change depending on the health of the salmon populations.

Aboard the Queen of Hearts, we almost always troll for salmon, as that is what we have found to work the best for us.

Rockfish

Rockfish, also colloquially known as rockcod, are another popular target for anglers. There are more species and subspecies of rockfish than can be listed here, and more often than not you'll encounter a few while out on a trip with us. Rockfish season usually runs from March through December, but is subject to change based on Fish & Wildlife regulations.

Crab Combo

During the dungeness crab season, we offer "crab combo" rockfishing trips. The day carries on the same as a normal rockfishing trip, but on the way back in we will stop by different "crab pots" that the crew has placed, harvesting crabs and rebaiting them along the way. Oftentimes there will also be a few rock crab alongside the dungies, which are a separate bag limit.
